3 Part Series
"Preventing conflict saves lives and costs. How does this play out for water-related conflict?"
The Water, Peace, and Security (WPS) partnership and the Geneva Water Hub present a series of podcasts and a blog about water-related conflict prevention in practice, and how to measure the success of such programs. The Water for Peace: Preventing Conflict Related to Water and Wetlands blog looks at how water can be a key trigger of conflict among communities or between citizens and the state. This is happening all over the world: from Iraq to Guatemala and from Mali to Lebanon. The Water, Peace, and Security partnership is a collaboration among an expanding group of organizations supported by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Geneva Water Hub is a global and multidisciplinary center hosted at the University of Geneva.
