About the Presenters

Geremie Sawadogo, Manager HRDC4, Author of the AfricanXculture Assessment Tool

Geremie Sawadogo joined the World Bank Group in April 2004 as Program Manager for Global Mobility. Prior to joining the Bank, Geremie was the Country Director for the US Peace Corps in Benin where he managed a development assistance program in teacher training; HIV/AIDS education; environmental education; and small business development. Geremie Sawadogo is a published author in intercultural competencies and international education. His AfricanXculture assessment tool allows individuals to assess themselves against an African cultural values benchmark.

Ruihua Dong, Lead, Intercultural Program

Ruihua Dong has worked with the World Bank Group for 19 years. She leads the integration of intercultural effectiveness for all WBG leadership programs, and works with Vice Presidencies, CMUs, and teams across WBG in their initiatives to enhance team and client engagement, trust, inclusion, and business effectiveness. She has designed, developed, and delivered hundreds of different intercultural programs for thousands of staff across the world. Originally from China, Ruihua has lived in the US for the last 25 years.
