Senegal: Fighting Malnutrition and Stunting with a Multi-Sectroal Approach

Malnutrition was highly prevalent in Senegal at the start of the millennium when stunting affected as many as 30% of children under five. In response, the Government of Senegal, with support from IDA -- the World Bank’s fund for the poorest and other partners, shifted its approach on nutrition to a community-based holistic strategy.

the World has obligation to start the empowerment for save the children from stunting that caused by malnutrition. However, the most important thing is how to make the society eventually be able to be independent avoiding the malnutrision

Now it is the era of development from down (community level ) to up. Centralizing gives fewer results and less impact.
