Safeguarding the Global Commons

"Learn how innovative, cross-functional partnerships may provide the enabling conditions for a shared global commons."

In order to protect our global commons and turn the tide against climate change and biosphere degradation, humanity must develop new business models to transform the intertwined systems of urban development, food, energy, and the circular economy.

This video details how the Global Environmental Facility (GEF) is working with coalitions that bring together governments, businesses, finance, and citizens to realize the goal of a shared global commons.

Human made activity has transgressed our planetary boundaries, in order to grow economy, fulfill the growing consumption, uplift the life quality, etc., because the limited capability of human to manage its activity bad impact. So, the result is climate changes and biosphere degradation. Sure, the bad impact couldn't be abolished but the worsening rate can be reduced by proper plan and action,
