Since 1990, maternal and childhood deaths have fallen by 47 percent globally. The video highlights key messages from IEG's review on Maternal and Child Mortality. It discusses causal evidence on maternal and child mortality to help policy makers to make informed decisions. It also points out the importance of access to information and training and ability to put interventions in particular local context.
