This webinar is an introductory session focused on the fundamentals of M&E of innovation policy, including why monitoring and evaluation (M&E) is important for innovation policy, and how different countries do it. This event is part of the larger Innovation Policy Learning Exchange project which is working to support innovation policy in the Philippines, and it is an introduction to a four-week online course on this topic that we will be delivering for the Philippines that will commence in a couple of weeks. It is supported by the Korea–World Bank Group Partnership Facility (KWPF) and funded by the Government of Korea.
Webinar will be 60-90-minute (TBC) introduction to the topic followed by an online training of approximately 8 hours of core training (and 2 hours of office hours) spread over 4 weeks. The format we envisaged has similarity to the Virtual Knowledge Exchange programs.
The participants will attain an overview of M&E of innovation policy, learn about international best practices in M&E, and get an insight into how M&E has been used in innovation policy over the last 20 years from Korea.
