Knowledge Exchange: UZBEKISTAN

Please join us for a discussion featuring Uzbekistan at our next Knowledge Exchange. In this session, we will hear about responses to the COVID-19 pandemic from the perspectives of health and education officials. This webinar will explore the measures in health and education sectors taken by the Republic of Uzbekistan in response to the COVID-19 crisis. Mr. Botirjon Kurbanov will focus on the current epidemiological situation and the impact of the COVID 19 pandemic on the healthcare sector, as well as the importance of the Uzbekistan Emergency COVID 19 Response project. Mr. Ayubhkhon Radjiev will provide an overview of ongoing reforms in the public education system and “Online-Maktab” project that was designed in response to the closure of schools during the pandemic. The Republic of Uzbekistan is taking steps to provide emergency assistance by preventing, detecting, treating to the threat posed by COVID 19 and strengthening the national system of public healthcare and to ensure continuity in education through online and TV learning for school to tertiary students.
