The COVID-19 outbreak is hurting developing Asia's economies. Growth will slow sharply, and the outlook is very uncertain. COVID-19 has not yet spread extensively but measures to contain the virus and a weak global economy will whip up headwinds in 2020, offsetting support from tax cuts and financial sector reforms. The economy will recover in 2021.
