Fundamentals of Aquatic Remote Sensing

"Overview of relevant satellites and sensors, and data and tools for aquatic environmental management."

This session provides an overview of aquatic optics, the remote sensing of water targets, and NASA Earth Observation resources available for aquatic applications. The agenda includes a discussion on Light and Water, Fundamentals of Remote Sensing, Aquatic Remote Sensing Data Products and their Uses, Accessing NASA Satellite Imagery, and NASA Satellite Data Processing Tools.
