This is not only a grave social issue, but one with economic consequences that contribute to ongoing poverty. Sometimes it is a misconception of what the religion says about women empowerment. Some are of the view that when a women is given such an opportunity she tends to overgrown the control of a man. So not just social norms or values religion inclusive. Thank you.
