Georges Sanvee has been passionate about raising poultry since the late 90s. His is one of the rare farms in Togo that has been able to withstand the price hikes in inputs on the market. At a time when many poultry farmers were closing shop, Georges was able to receive training from CERSA - the Regional Center of Excellence for Avian Science of the University of Lome, financed by the World Bank. Through CERSA, Georges and other farmers learned how to improve their feed formula when certain products such as corn are too expensive and how to determine the nutritional value of feed.
