Cash Transfers Help 1.5 Million Yemeni Households Buy Basic Goods

Fatima is a Yemeni shepherdess and the sole breadwinner in her family after her husband’s death. She is one of millions of Yemenis receiving income assistance to help buy her daughters the basic goods they need thanks to the World Bank Emergency Cash Transfers Project.

More than 22.2 million people in Yemen need some kind of humanitarian assistance. 17.8 million people are food insecure, and 8.4 million are severely food insecure, and the World Bank aims to help through this project.

Human has the basic need of food, shelter and clothes. But if you don't have any three then the life is a critical stage which everyone should know. But this world is cruel as well as there are some agencies working to protect and save the lives of millions people. Cash transfer is the best way to help and buy the basic needs or basic goods to survive. When you have a money in your hand and in your pocket, then you can survive. If you have the money saving concept, you can buy your desires through making house, buying lands and other property which would help you to include your basic needs and sustain your life. Yemen life is changing but in my opinion, the donor agency should start thinking a new perception of cash transferring as well as building Yemen. The concept "IF YOU GROW, THEY WILL GROW" is the best idea to establish the nation. Cash transfer is just a temporary solution. We have to think for YEMEN sustainable development as the coming generation should have a knowledge of building their nations so that with the help of their skills, and planning to develop the goals of YEMEN, the cash transfer should be change into a donation, grant so that the country can help themselves to rise.
