"How can higher education and lifelong learning bridge skills needed in the labor market?"
BBL Date - September 10, 2019
The fourth industrial revolution (4IR) complicates the challenge of the supply and demand of skills. How can higher education and lifelong learning bridge skills needed in the labor market?
As part of its Innovation and Technology BBL Series, the Korea office with the Education GP organized a BBL on the use of advanced technology in lifelong learning and skills development. Also the fifth in the Education GP's webinar series on identifying skills gaps in the EAP countries, the BBL first examines how the technologies of 4IR create new pressures on labor markets, education reform and lifelong learning globally. It then introduces Korea's Lifelong Vocational Education Master Plan as a case analysis.
