Digital technologies have significant potential to improve the agriculture sector. As part of its Innovation and Technology BBL Series, the Korea office has partnered with the Agricultural GP and the Open Learning Campus to organize a BBL on the use of data analytics and intelligence in digital agriculture.
This BBL shows how Geographic Information System (GIS) is effectively used in a World Bank agriculture project in the Philippines. It also introduces Korea's cutting-edge technologies used by EPIS and EPINET for plant disease and insect pest forecasting as well as geospatial farm-mapping.
This BBL is part of the OLC-KPOK Knowledge Exchange on Digital Agriculture Technology in Seoul, conducted for government delegates from Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Uganda and Uruguay.
