Strengthening cybersecurity and cyber-resilience helps governments and societies understand properly the downside risks of ICTs and develop the ability to mitigate them.
The BBL shows, through the Korea-World Bank Group Partnership Facility (KWPF), how the World Bank supports the improvement of cyber-resilience and capacity of country clients to prevent and mitigate cybersecurity risks. It specifically examines how the World Bank's Global Cyber Security Capacity Program has established a new modus operandi for effective cyber-security capacity building in World Bank client countries such as Kyrgyzstan and North Macedonia.
