It’s that time again—the World Bank is holding its Annual Meetings at its Washington, DC campus. The Annual Meetings provide a forum for international cooperation and enable the World Bank and International Monetary Fund to better serve their member countries.
Nearly 4,000-member country delegates from 189 countries, over 1,100 civil society organization representatives, 750 members of the press, 700 observers and nearly 4,000 guests are here for five days of seminars, regional briefings and press conferences, public dialogues and bilateral meetings. The events cover a range of issues related to poverty reduction, international economic development and global finance.
The Open Learning Campus provides dynamic educational opportunities on these issues and many more for more effective development. The discussions and decisions from these events will inform the content of future educational offerings.
